Usaba Sambah Festival

Tenganan Pegringsingan, this ancient religious festival is held annually on the fifth month of the Tenganan Calendar (Sasih Kelima), or June on the Gregorian Calendar. the village is one of the island’s main tourist attraction, delighting visitors with rare and colorful cultural gems such as double woven ikat cloth and the Perang Pandan (or Mekare-kare in local language, in which locals duel each other using clubs of thorny pandanus leaves).

Miss World 2013

Bali, Island of the Gods chosen as the location of Miss World 2013 because of its natural beauty and cultural diversity. The Miss World 2013 event is scheduled to last for a month in September 2013. Bali will welcome 131 beautiful women ambassadors from various countries around the world.
Miss World 2011 from Venezuela, Ivian LunaSol Sarcos Colmenares, says Bali is the perfect place for the Miss World 2013 event. “The hospitality of Bali is so pronounced. This will be felt by all the ambassadors who will come to this beautiful island paradise next year.”
Bali will continue to improve both the security and infrastructure to welcome international activities in 2013, among them the World Culture Forum, the APEC summit, and the Bali Democracy Forum.

"Ngembak", “Med-Medan" tradisional event, this event is held in coneetion wit "Nyepi" the Caka new year, involing maidens and bachelors of the village as to strengthen brotherhood and understanding among the youth. Initiated with orayer at the local temple, the group members then hug one another, getting troughly wet under water sprouted by someone. Is indeed a cheerful moment for all, held about 15.00 hours.
